Nothing says holidays like a boozy craft cocktail made with the highest quality ingredients. We enlisted the help of Jina Paolillo, founder of The Glass Bottle Society, to craft a seasonally inspired and SipCozy-focused holiday cocktail.

The Glass Bottle Society is our go-to shop for any and all bar cart needs. Jina has curated the most unique vintage glassware and essential bar tools. You’ll also find muddlers, assorted bitters, quirky garnish picks, and a library of cocktail books. Visit their online shop.

We started out by infusing Flor de Caña 4 Year Extra Seco Rum with Camp Craft Cocktails Sangria mix. Infusing spirits will give your drinks a sophisticated twist, and Camp makes it easy with premade infusion jars.

Bitters are a key component of this joyful cocktail. We like to say bitters are to cocktails as salt is to food. They enhance and balance flavors. They also help to cut acidity, making a more enjoyable sipping experience. We chose Crude’s “Bitterless Marriage” small-batch bitters; its notes of hibiscus, lavender, and oak helped to pull the whole thing together.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1.5 oz Flor de Caña 4 Year Extra Seco Rum infused  with Camp Craft Cocktails Sangria
  • 1 oz SipCozy
  • 0.5 oz fresh lime juice
  • 2 dropperful Crude “Bitterless Marriage” bitters
  • Garnish with dehydrated lime wheel

In a cocktail shaker, add your infused rum, SipCozy, lime juice, and bitters. Then add ice. *Be sure not to add ice until after your ingredients are added to avoid a watered-down cocktail. Shake it like you mean it. Strain into a coupe glass and garnish with a dehydrated lime wheel.

You can find all the tools we used on The Glass Bottle Society site: Cocktail Kingdom Muddler, Libbey Glassware, Camp Craft Cocktails Sangria Infusion Jar, and Crude Bitters “Bitterless Marriage”.
