By Team SipCozy

A majority of the SipCozy team was born and raised in Florida. In order to battle the incredibly hot summer days, we’re always on the lookout for refreshing drinks: both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. We asked each SipC team member to explore some must-have summer swigs; check out our thoughts below!

La Croix

Every day around 3:30 p.m. I crack open a La Croix Sparkling Water, I’m not sure what it is about 3:30 in the afternoon, but a Hi-Biscus La Croix seems to call my name daily at that exact time.

I’ve never technically eaten a hibiscus flower, but I’m a big fan of hibiscus cocktails, which is what drew me to La Croix’s flowery flavors. The Hi-Biscus flavor is very light and mildly fragrant; it doesn’t feel like I’m drinking a flower, but hey, I love it.

SipCozy Margarita

Back in 2018, I decided my ongoing drink of choice was going to be a margarita. Lately, I’ve been into watermelon margaritas and when you combine it with SipCozy, it’s the perfect summer cocktail! I also started mixing the Hi-Biscus La Croix into my margs and BOOM… SipCozy Hibiscus Margaritas for everyone.

My favorite non-alcoholic summer sip is Recess sparkling water. Each can is infused with hemp extract and adaptogens: the perfect combination for a relaxing refreshment. There are six fruity flavors: Coconut Lime, Blood Orange, Black Cherry, Peach Ginger, Pomegranate Hibiscus and Blackberry Chai. Despite their vibrant appearance, each flavor is light and subtle – the flavor combinations aren’t overwhelming at all. This is an overall great summertime sip!

High Noon Sun Sips

When it comes to hard seltzers, High Noon is my go-to drink for the summer! High Noon makes six refreshing flavors: Pineapple (my favorite), Grapefruit, Lime, Peach, Watermelon and Black Cherry.

High Noons are made with real juice and vodka rather than malt liquor; in my opinion, this makes them smoother and generally easier to drink than White Claws. If you enjoy hard seltzers like White Claws or Trulys, I’d highly recommend checking out High Noon – it’s basically a fruity, refreshing cocktail in a can.

Sparkling Ice

When it comes to my favorite non-alcoholic refreshment, Sparkling Ice leads the way. You’ve probably seen these at your local grocery store or gas station; the vibrant colors and tall bottles are hard to miss.

With zero calories and zero sugar, Sparkling Ice makes 18 flavors of bubbly, fruity sparkling water. Flavors like Kiwi Strawberry, Cherry Limeade and Coconut Pineapple are incredibly delicious (and a good alternative if you’re trying to stay away from soda).

If you’re already a fan of Sparkling Ice, check out their recipe/DIY page online. They’ve created a drink recipe for literally every occasion or season: from refreshing smoothies to fruity cocktails.

There’s something deliciously appealing about wine in a can. The convenience, the simplicity, the overall enjoyment of drinking wine in a can: what more could you ask for?

I discovered BABE canned wine a couple of years ago, and now it’s my go-to. Beers and seltzers aren’t my favorite, and thankfully, BABE offers three bubbling wines: pinot grigio, rosé and red.

You literally can’t go wrong with BABE, but the rosé and grigio might be my favorites. They’re both incredibly light and refreshing – absolutely perfect for a hot day at the beach, by the pool, on the boat… you name it.

Besides their bright, crisp flavor, BABE’s serving size is perfect. Each can contains 12% ABV (alcohol by volume), which means three cans is equivalent to one bottle of wine. Amazing.

I typically buy 4-packs at my local grocery store, but BABE sells 8, 12 and 24-packs online starting at $27.99. They also offer bottles of pinot grigio and red, as well as merch and bundles. They even have a DIY tie-dye kit complete with dye, bike shorts, a cropped hoodie, socks, and a 4-pack of BABE. Check them out!
